Never in exalted measures do we live life: only in moments,
Though we hold its promise of years, we receive it in days,
and live it in minutes.
and live it in minutes.
Regardless of how long it may be,
It is given us in snippets, bite-size chunks: moments
With the grandeur and splendour of this vale;
We only pass through its meadows and serene streams-
But in steps-pockets of time.
The drop counts to the stream,
And from rivulets, the tempestuous river is birthed.
Heavenly floodgates, blesses us only in the rain-drop,
Tis' from these, that Sea broadens her coast...
...and from punny snowflake(s), dear Winter gathers her boast.
Thus the mighty King, one infantry-man at a time, assembles his host.
Each daily task, is the future in a mask.
And In ever varying magnitudes, each day...we build-
Towers of blessedness, and pits of grovel- pits of sadness.
Though there be difference in our eventualities, we create them all in one uniform nature-
The undertaking of each moment's duty.- the exertion of effort!
Charity begins at home, neither is the cow fattened in the day of sale.
Great deeds are but a repetition of great diligence and attention given to the small duties of life.
Each day beckons its own tasks,
The whole is but an aggregate of the individual constituents,
If the small is flawless, the Great is made perfect.
He that is able to put his soul into each duty be it worldly or spiritual, to do it will all excellence,
The same shall escape the gallows of commonplace...the fetters of mediocrity.
All work takes the form of the state in which it be undertook,
If with vigour- it shall burst with energy, if with thoughtfulness- it shall show forth wisdom and awe.
Many Men are anxious, seeking greater power, responsibility, and wealth.

Many Men are anxious, seeking greater power, responsibility, and wealth.
Noble as they be, their longings will not reach fruition,
For they lie in wait, of some grand moment, when they shall pounce, with superb resolution on this master-opportunity,
Yet they forget: they is no way from boyhood to manhood but by growth,
The greater avails itself to he who has mastered the lesser.

So now I call Men, to the realisation:
Life is but a measurement of time.
It's worth being the value created along the seasons.
The insignificant tends to significance, even from the invisible, that which is seen was created.
Consider each moment sacred, and whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
Regardless of its significance, each hour attack each task with grave purpose, and each undertaking with your very soul.
